The University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City (UEF) aims to become Vietnam’s leading university and achieve international academic standards, based on philosophy: Quality – Efficiency – Integration. UEF’s goal is t0 achieve high standards in higher education by adapting the world’s best expertise to the local context of change and economic integration, focusing on providing specialized training in Finance and Economics in order to meet the country’s increasing needs for high quality human resources.
Shih Chien University, formerly known as Shih Chien College of Home Economics, was founded in 1958 by Mr. Tung-Min Shieh. The name “Shih Chien,” which in Chinese means “practice”, was originated from the belief of Wang Yangming, a great Chinese philosopher: “Knowledge is the beginning of practice. Doing is the completion of knowing” (1498). Shih Chien University kept this motto in mind while implementing and expanding its educational vision. Over the years, the institution evolved from a junior college to a bachelor’s degree granting institution and was renamed Shih Chien College of Design and Management in 1991. In 1997, the institution was promoted to university status. Today, the University is made up of the College of Human Ecology, the College of Design and the College of Management. The University has one campus in Taipei and another in Kaohsiung and is home to approximately 15,000 students and 700 faculty and staff.
An institution steeped in history, National Taipei University began as Taiwan Provincial College of Public Administration in 1949 to educate and train the country’s business and legal elite. In 2000, National Taipei University was reorganized and restructured from the Law and Business College of National Chung-Hsin University. In 2010, the NTPU finally completed the entire relocation project, moving the six colleges from the downtown campus in the Taipei City, to the present San-Shia main campus in the New Taipei City. Over the past few decades, the NTPU has traditionally played a significant and pivotal role in educating and developing the mid- and high-level talents in the areas of law, business, public administration, as well as social sciences.
UMB has developed its strategic project in line with the national activity in education aiming at the strengthening of the democratisation, modernisation and full adherence to Europe. Created, as a higher education institution with a humanist approach, UMB aims at the development of the institution in another yet dimension, by getting closer to the university practices of an entrepreneurial institution.
In the Albanian context, UMB aims at fulfilling its institutional purpose, through a combination of the liberal, classical school and its ideals for indipendent critical opinion and free thinking with the fundamental qualities of the entrepreneurial mind and spirit. UMB diplomas are a blend of academic challenge with training and qualities, that not only prepare students for future employment, but also endow them with capabilities of becoming Albania’s ambassadors in Europe and beyond.

Shakarim University was established in 1995 as a result of integration of Pedagogical, Veterinary and Technological Institutes. The University inherited long and rich history of those educational institutions.
The University trains the specialists of the broad spectrum of acclaimed professions in the areas such as socio-humanitarian, natural, technical, agricultural sciences, business and law on the basis of multilevel preparation of more than 40 Bachelor, 30 Master and 5 PhD programmes.
The students of Shakarim State University can demonstrate all their talents and creative abilities participating in the debate clubs «Congress», «Parasat», «Club for the Cheerful and Quick-witted» (KVN), fashion studios, Kazakhstan Students Alliance, «Enactus» team and many other youth organizations.
